Opened in November 2007, Seoul Namsan Gugakdang, a theatre for performing Korean traditional music, enables audiences to enjoy the vivid sound of the country’s music in a Korean traditional house. The 330-seat performance hall is equipped with top-notch facilities, perfect for performances, including sound systems, lighting and stage facilities.
The hall is also used for lectures on the country’s traditional musical instruments and traditional arts, cultural classes for the youth, and programs for various hands-on cultural experiences.
