    Bukchon Hanok Area
    Bukchon is located at the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeok Palace and Jongmyo, which were positioned based on the Joseon Confucian ideas. It is a traditional residential area, showing the 600 years of history of Seoul. The village is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and has kept countless alleys intact since they were made.
  • Bukchon Hanok Area
    This area was named Bukchon, the north village, as it is located in the northern side of the Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. It was famous for its residents, high-ranking government officials or royal families. A few houses remain and show the reputation of the residents.
  • Bukchon Hanok Area
    At Bukchon Hanok Village, you can see many houses standing side by side with shared walls, and you can also enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the alley ways as well as the beauty of the eaves. Differing from western roads, the traditional roads in this village look like tree branches or streams.
